“Racial conflict deals with disputes between groups that are trying to live together without dialogue, understanding and love.”
What we see happening in society with the races in our nation and the nations of the earth is world-wide racial conflict. And I believe that this racial conflict is no more or no less than society experiencing the birth pangs of the birthing of a new age – the kingdom age. The biblical text in Matthew 24:7 says – speaking of the signs of the coming of Yeshua and His millennial reign – and there shall be nation (ethnic groups) against nation (ethnic groups)…..and these are the beginning of sorrows (Birth pangs).
Racial conflict is the birth pangs signaling the birthing of a new expression of relational interaction coming with God and man
Racial conflict is the birth pangs signaling the birthing of a new expression of relational interaction coming with God and man, when the gospel of Christ, the messiah of the whole earth, is preached in all nations, right before the end of this present age. Matt 24:14 goes on to say, concerning this shift and transition into this new age, that the gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come to racial conflict, wars, and natural disasters of the earths groan, in the present age.
Racial conflict is people groups at enmity with one another
Racial conflict is people groups at enmity with one another as a result of racial differences, racial pride, racial injustice not surrendered to Yeshua. It is races competing for position, resources, or standing. This has been seen since the beginning, with Isaac vs, Ishmael, to Jews, Gentiles, to our present time throughout the nations.
Racism is different from Racial Conflict
Racial conflict is different from Racism. Racism requires laws, systems and false ideologies that are put in place by a power-group to exploit, oppress, dominate and control another group of people based on skin color or other physical features. Racism is more systemic. Racism from a legal systemic vantage point has been outlawed in society, even though there may still be racists attributes in society, like discrimination, prejudice, and race hatred, etc. This technically is not racism. Even though power-dominate groups in society may try to circumvent the laws that have outlawed the practice of racism, to implement racists policies to continue prior systems of racism and establish a derivative of that prior system, like the disproportionate penal system imprisonment of Black youth, if an oppressed people group brings these policies and patterns to light, in a post racist society that system is supposed to be dismantled. But racial conflict at it’s root deals more with disputes between groups that are trying to live together without dialogue, understanding and love….Excerpts from book, Religion, Racism and Reconciliation
