A RESET TO RELEASE TO RELAUNCH

Mat 8:1 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. 2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. 4 And Jesus saith unto him, see thou tell no man; but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

I. GO SHOW THYSELF TO THE PRIEST – Submitting to a Praying Leader

Priests usually serve as a representative between people and God. Priests are intermediaries between people and God. They teach the proper reverence, gratitude, praise, sacrificial giving, worship, and way of life that define the faith. A Priest’s most important role is as mediator and intercessor, offering prayers and sacrifices on behalf of believers in order to secure the deity’s forgiveness and favor in this life and, in the afterlife, eternal bliss  few days after Christmas, I had a prophetic dream that began to direct my life further into a Reset that God had begun in my life after I had left Israel in October of 2018.

In the dream, I was in a prayer service with Mike Bickle leading prayer. I was in the back of the room praying, as everyone in the building was standing. As he was praying on the mic he pointed to his left in the back towards where I was sitting to ask me to come up and pray…only I and the person in front of me thought he was motioning for them to come up. As they went up, he said NO, I want Brondon. And I went up to pray. When I got to the podium, he asked me to pray Matthew 8:4. As I started looking for the verse in Mike’s bible that was on the podium I couldn’t find it. While the worship team is singing, I’m thumbing through the bible frantically looking for the verse. Finally, I realize the reason I can’t find it is because it’s been torn out of Mike’s bible.

So, he goes into the back room to get another bible. And me and a team of people also go to the room on the other side of the prayer room looking for another bible. As Mike is getting his bible, the team we also to get another bible, and we began thumbing through it to make sure Matthew 8:4 is in this bible. Once we saw this verse in Matthew had not been torn out of that bible, I took that bible to the podium, with my thumb in Matthew 8:4 to pray, as Mike directed.

As I place the bible on the podium and go to pick up the microphone, remove my thumb and I lose my space in Matthew 8:4 and begin, once again, frantically searching for Matthew 8:4. As I’m trying to find the verse again, I wake up from the dream.Once I awake from the dream, I get my bible from on the side of my bed and turn to Matthew 8:4 and it reads…

And Jesus said to him, “See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.” Matthew 8:4 NASB

My wife and I had been contemplating whether we should try to take our family of 7 to this ONE THING conference because of the expenses for travel, the Hotel expenses for two rooms, the parking expenses, food, etc., for the 4 days. But Once I had the dream and read Matthew 8:4, I got up (it was 4:43am) I went downstairs to where I pray…As I was opening my bible app on my phone, I see an email notification from Mike Bickle. And It read….

This is an invitation for you to participate as part of our Discernment Team at the One thing conference…And these six things are being provided for you and your family. Lunch and dinner each day (starting with dinner at 5pm on the first day) Up front seating reservations for all 11 sessions (starting at 2:30pm the first day)

While I was in Kansas City in the prayer room after One Thing, Chris Ahrens came up to me and shared with me vital information from an interpretation of a dream he had received about HFC. In the dream He said, on the morning of Saturday, December 15th, 2018, I dreamt of some things pertaining to Hope for Columbus.

I first remember dreaming I was helping one of my sister’s remodel or upgrade part of her house. I believe I was going to help fix a wall that was overlaid with stone. As we were discussing and looking at what was to be done, she began to talk about the racial issue between whites and blacks. She was talking about how the N word has been associated with everything bad and negative and unclean and how many whites associated such ideas with the word. I felt uneasy over the whole topic and wondered how to respond. The dream then transitioned to a different scene and I was in the inner city. It was somewhat dark outside, and I was sort of just going about in the city observing the conditions.

As I went, I saw an African American Woman talking to someone. She was talking about how hard it was living as a black person. She then rhetorically asked the question, “Is there any hope for us.” Next in the dream I was driving in my work truck I use for my painting business that had been stolen earlier in the month. As I drove, I saw an apartment complex with at least three apartment buildings on the property.

The buildings were abandoned and in need of repairs. Me, having an eye for real estate with potential for income, decided to investigate this property. I looked around for clues as to who might own the property and whether it was available for sale. I spotted an old sign that was leaned up sideways against a fence along with other boards and debris.

The sign read “Hope for Columbus,” and the letters were in the font that the ministry used on its promotional flyers and banners for a 24/7 prayer, worship, and evangelism endeavor that started at Shiloh Christian Center August 2015, in Columbus Ohio. I realized this building must have been once, or currently owned by the Hope for Columbus ministry.

I pulled my truck into a parking garage located on the property and got out of the vehicle. As I did so several work vans also pulled up and many Latino or Hispanic workers got out and began to start some work. I asked one who seemed to be in charge what was going on.

He explained that all the drywall needed to be replaced in the entire complex. I thought to myself how big of a project that would be and thought maybe I could get the painting contract to coat the drywall once it all was finished. I asked the man how long before the job was finished, and he responded that it would be finished by July. He then walked away to start working and my attention was drawn to two young African American boys curiously watching the buildings being renovated. For some reason they had looked familiar like I had met them before. I asked them their names and one responded that his name was Johnny. The dream ended.

While in Kansas City Chris told me something further that connected His dream to the dream I had at the at the end of 2018. There was one thing that I found interesting that I didn’t put in the document since it wasn’t part of the dream. But as I said before I felt that the Lord led me to Leviticus 14 to understand what the walls represented.

It was there that I found the stuff about the leprosy being mold and mildew in the walls. When I first studied this chapter a little while before One Thing Conference, I didn’t notice what the first half of the chapter was about since my study was just on walls. But when I went back to reread the chapter after you asked me to write it up, I was pretty blown away by the first part of the chapter. You remember the dream you had with Mike Bickle asking you to read Matthew 8:4? Well the context was a leper who was just healed by the Lord. Jesus said in this verse to offer the gift Moses commanded. Well the first part of Leviticus chapter 14 is the place (I think the only place), where it is described what exactly the gift Moses commanded was.

That’s pretty crazy! It would seem the two dreams are linked. I also found some pretty cool stuff about the New Jerusalem with ties into your vision of cities of refuge. I put that part in the doc. Let me know your thoughts.

THE WALLS: I believe the drywall being repaired is signifying that the entire building (the corporate body of believers) needs spiritual renovation in, and revelation on, how we do relationships. And further, that this work must take place from now until July. And, after July, I believe there will be an investigation performed by the Lord to see if the problem is solved. This will be shown later.

I believe the relational renovation will have a lot to do with the spirit of Elijah and turning hearts of Fathers, Mothers and Children to one another. For children it will look like honor and respect toward parents. For wives it means submitting to husbands. For husbands loving their wives. And for parents taking responsibility before God for the spiritual development and success of their children or disciples. Of course, for the church we are all a spiritual family and by no means is this relational dynamic limited to a natural family. Jesus said in Matt 12:50, “Whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

WALLS represent how we are oriented, or in other words how we relate, regarding one another. I noted in the dream that the structure stayed in place and that it was just the walls in need of attention. I take this to signify that the structure in place is good but the relationships within that structure are hurting.

THE INTERPRETATION OF THE DRYWALL BEING REPLACED IS that there is mold in the building which represents unhealthy relationships and sin in the camp. Walls speak of boundaries and privacy. Two things that also play a large and important role in relationships. These things can be good to protect us from things outside that would seek to hurt us. They also create the joy of relationships as we get to know one another and discover amazing gifts, talents, and perspectives placed and hidden within each person given to profit the body at large.

But Walls Can Also Create Spaces That Breed Sin and Ruin To Relationships. When we get hurt, we want to run and hide, seek refuge from our oppressor. If there is no one we can trust, we seek solitude where no one can hurt us anymore. And when we cut ourselves off from a healthy environment all kinds of bad things can grow much like mold and mildew in a building due to poor maintenance.

Mold Grows When Improper Conditions Exist Within A Building. Leaking pipes and improper drainage can lead to moisture in areas that are meant to be kept dry. Poor ventilation and lack of airflow will cause mold and mildew to grow in the walls and surfaces where the moisture is trapped.

In the same way unhealthy emotions grow when we stay in the dark and privacy of solitude. Behind walls and closed doors hurting people grow into people that hurt others. Pain becomes bitterness and anger. Misunderstandings become pride and arrogance. Attacked personality leads to low self-esteem and depression. Eventually perversion and addiction creep in if problems go unsolved. And there in the darkness people express this pain through gossip and backbiting. In a healthy building there is constant movement. People are coming and going. Doors and windows are opening and closing, letting air in and out. Chefs are cooking food to nourish the residents inside. Exhaust fans are letting extensive heat or moisture leave the building. People are constantly cleaning surfaces and washing things. The maintenance man is always making sure all the systems are functional and working properly. And above all people are fellowshipping together and bearing one another’s burdens.

I Searched the Scriptures for What the Bible Had to Say About Walls and Here Is Some of What I Found. In the dream I was not told why the walls were being replaced but my first thought was there must have been mold in the building. I believe the Lord led me to study Leviticus chapter 14 which proved to confirm my first impression. I know from my own experience and research in home renovation that there is only one reason that all the drywall would need to be repaired in three entire buildings, or even in one room or wall, or even part of a wall for that matter. And that is if there were a major mold problem where the mold was not just on the surface of the paint but growing and embedded in the drywall itself.

In the Bible Mold in Walls Is Referred to As A Plague of Leprosy in A House. The word leprosy in the bible means a mold or mildew when it is used in the context of a plague being in the walls of a house or building. Leviticus chapter 14 gives instruction for how to handle a case of leprosy in the walls.

The Owner of The House Was to Go to The Priest and Tell Him. The priest would have the house emptied first and then go in to inspect. Depending on the nature of the mold the priest would then have the house closed for seven days. And anyone that came in the house during the period it was shut up would be considered unclean and go through the proper cleansings. On the seventh day the priest would again go in and look at the house. If the mold was still there, they would have to remove the stones in the affected area, scrape the entire house, and then take the stones and the dust from scraping to an unclean place outside the city. Basically, the city’s garbage dump. They would then replace the stones with new ones and re-plaster the house. If the mold reappeared again the priest would then command that the entire house be demolished, and all the debris taken to the dump.

II. BUT SPEAK THE WORD ONLY & MY SERVANT WILL BE HEALED – Submitting to the Word of a Leader

After I came back from Kansas City with the wisdom from the Reset God prompted me that I was to read the whole chapter of Matthew 8, not just the first four verses, to gain wisdom for the process for healing and restoration for the reset and the relaunch. He also instructed me that I was to read Micah chapter 7, which was the chapter Mike preached from at the One Thing conference teaching us How to Respond to The Lord in The Midst Of A Relational, Family, Or National Crisis.  As I read Micah 7, He instructed on how to be healed, delivered and restored from the leprosy of sin and sickness and the toleration of Jezebel, that was revealed at the heart level of my life from the Sept/Oct incident in NYC on my way to Israel. As I read Matthew chapter 8 it instructed me on how to lead our community into the process of healing and restoration from that same leprosy of sin and sickness (Mold in the Walls) that had spread throughout our community/Ministry.

It’s interesting that the dream I had in December of Mike telling me to pray Matthew 8:4 in the prayer room was the chapter after Matthew 7:22 that He spoke to me in NYC when I was unable to get onto the plane to Israel.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? Mat 7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Once I began to meditate on the whole chapter of Matthew 8, the Lord began to speak to me from each section and account in chapter 8 of Matthew, instructing me what I was to do and what He would do if I was faithful to do what He (Yeshua) did in each section or account of Chapter 8. I was obedient and am being obedient to the first section of the chapter in Matthew 8 to;

  1. Repent of the sin of Leprosy
  2. Go show yourself to the priest
  3. Give an offering

The next section/account of Matthew 8 begins in verses 5-13 and deals with a centurion man in the city of Capernaum seeking healing for his servant that was lying at home sick. He tells Jesus about his sick servant and Jesus says, I will come and heal Him.   The Centurion says, LORD, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof BUT SPEAK A WORD ONLY AND MY SERVANT WILL BE HEALED.  The process by which he derives his understanding of Jesus’ ability and power to do what He was asking Him to do.

The Centurion says, For I am a man under authority having soldiers under me. And I say to this one GO and he goes and to another COME and he comes; and to my servant, do this, and he does it. When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found, such great faith, not even in Israel, And I say to you that many will come from east and west and sit down with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the Kingdom of heaven. But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness.

From these verses God began to chastise me about not having right structures of accountability for order and relational interaction between Father’s and Mother’s and sons and daughter or between leaders and the leadership structure. Submission and Authority. Jesus called the Centurion’s understanding of how authority works within a leadership structure in a house or organization – GREAT FAITH.

The Lord begin speaking to me from these verses about the necessity of having right relational structure for submission and authority and order, without which He said, your faith CANNOT work. He said, “Your faith CANNOT work without Order, in the process of Submission and Authority. He said your faith CANNOT work without a Word that the Lord has given you to speak and represent in the earth.  That word for YLC is the Word and ministry of and ministry of reconciliation, prayer, and restoration of marriages, families, and finances, in at-risk communities for the building of Cities of refuge in the body of Christ. He said, “Your faith CANNOT work without Humility between those in authority and those submitting to that authority and vice-versa.  Both parties must have humility for FAITH TO WORK.

The Centurion man needed Humility to go to a Jew, that his nation was responsible for keeping down, keeping them in their place. The Romans were occupying their land, so in essence the Jews were captives, prisoner of Rome in their own land.  Jesus had to have humility to respond to the request of a Centurion who was a Gentile, of whom Jews were not to have any dealings with.  They were not allowed in their homes, nor allowed to eat with them.  And the gospel was not yet released to the Gentiles, as was witnessed when the Syrophoenician woman came to Jesus seeking healing for her daughter.

The process of the working of Faith is recorded in Romans 10:14-17

Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Process of Faith that works begins with a Call and with Salvation (from Sin, Sickness and Poverty and Death) whosoever calls on the LORD shall be saved.

  1. A Call…whosoever calls on the LORD shall be saved. v.13
  2. An Apostle…How can they preach except they are sent. v.14
  3. A Hearing ear…How can they hear without a preacher v.15
  4. A Word from God…Faith comes by Hearing and Hearing by the word of God v.17
  5. Obedience to the Word… But they have not all obeyed the gospel. v.16
  6. Faith in the word…. Faith comes by Hearing and Hearing by the word of God v.17

III.    AND WHEN JESUS ENTERED PETER’S HOUSE…Leaders Submitting to the Houses of Disciples(ship)

The next section of Matthew 8 begins with verses 14-17, where Jesus enters Peter’s house, he saw his mother-in-law lying sick with a fever. He touched her hand, and the fever left her, and she rose and bean to serve him.

Mat 8:14  And when Jesus was come into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother laid, and sick of a fever. 15  And he touched her hand, and the fever left her: and she arose, and ministered unto them. 16  When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with hisword, and healed all that were sick: 17  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

  1. Leader to Minister in Disciples Homes
  2. Disciples receiving Healing and ministry
  3. Disciples Ministering to their own Homes
  4. A Gathering of the sick and oppressed to the Leader and Leadership team.
  5. The Fulfillment of the Prophetic word/dreams
